Clackamas County Historical Society seeks advisors for two brand new exhibits: Timeline Hall and Camping in Clackamas
We are seeking dedicated educators to help us develop upcoming exhibits and programs at our Museum of the Oregon Territory through a Teacher Advisory Group (TAG). Over the course of six Zoom meetings, scheduled from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, those selected for our advisory group will review documents and interactives scheduled for production in our latest exhibits. Participants can expect to complete a full 12 hours as part of this advisory group between April 2, 2024, through August 13, 2024. These positions are paid a stipend of $670 ($55 per hour) with Professional Development Units provided on request.

The Timeline Hall exhibit explores key events in Oregon City/Clackamas County’s history with an emphasis on multiple perspectives.
The Camping in Clackamas exhibit explores the history of camping in our region.
Participants will provide insight and feedback on exhibit content including label text, objects, interactive, and images.
Group members will work closely with our Education team, who will design field trip and classroom programming for the community.
Our ideal Advisory Group is composed of:
2 Elementary School Teachers
2 Middle School Teachers
2 High School Teachers
