OPEN VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

Volunteer Groundskeeper & Technician

Clackamas County Historical Society is looking for volunteers to help maintain the grounds and buildings of the Museum of the Oregon Territory and Stevens-Crawford Heritage House. This opportunity is easily adjustable to your interests, skills, and abilities. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Light maintenance i.e. changing light bulbs, plumbing repairs, spot painting, etc.

  • Knowledge of lighting, HVAC controls, alarms, and equipment.

  • Monitor landscaping

Visitor Services Volunteer & Front Desk Attendant

We are seeking friendly visitor services volunteers to work at the museum's front desk. This position will include:

  • Greeting visitors and answering questions

  • Selling admissions and gift shop merchandise

  • Answering the phone

  • Entering historic collections materials into database (if desired)
