The Museum of the Oregon Territory has received funding to support a new exhibit and education programs on the history of the Jennings Lodge Camp in Clackamas County. Jennings Lodge Camp was a community gathering place for over a century. Located on the banks of the Willamette and nestled under a cathedral of trees, the camp brought families together to strengthen their faith and build community. Discover the legacy of this historic gathering place and learn how it changed over time.” Let me know if you have any questions.

This exhibit looks at the history of the Jennings Lodge Camp. How did the camp experience change over time? How is it different from today? This history is woven together through the overarching theme of a gathering place for a religious experience and sense of community.

We invite the community to join us for the grand opening of this exhibit on Saturday, May 17, 2025, beginning at 12:00 PM and ending at 4:00 PM.
