“HISTORY & MYSTERIES OF MT. HOOD” LECTURE BY MICHAEL HALL

Please join us for the presentation on the "History and Mysteries of Mt Hood" on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at the Museum of the Oregon Territory. The lecture will begin at 7 PM after the CCHS Annual Membership Meeting. Although the Membership Meeting itself will be members-only, the presentation will be available to members of the public at an admission rate of $10. If you see the presentation and decide to purchase a membership within the following week, we will count your admission towards your membership- up to a 40% savings!

Mr. Hall will delve into many interesting and odd facts about Mt. Hood; including, who was the first to climb our mountain, the importance of the Barlow Road, the first telephone line to the summit, the great egg delivery of 1933, early Government Camp architecture, and many more fun facts and oddities.
