FREE Teacher Professional Development Workshop

How does a museum visit align with ODE’s content standards?

Pittock Mansion's Katie Williams, Senior Manager of Education & Programs, and Dr. Jennifer Fang, Director of Interpretation & Community Engagement, will deliver a free presentation for teachers that will answer these important questions. Resources will be provided for learning about the history of Clackamas County from local heritage partners and for participating in National History Day. Audience members will leave with free passes to Clackamas County museums and heritage sites.

A teacher professional development workshop that includes:

  • Presentation by Katie Williams and Dr. Jennifer Fang.

  • Free teacher passes to local museums and heritage sites.

  • Teacher panel and table discussion sharing your field trip experiences.

  • Resources on Clackamas County history.

  • Resources on National History Day.
