Join us for a celebration of holy matrimony as our community comes together for a union between past and present. Heritage organizations and history lovers from Oregon City and beyond will convene on June, 17, 2023 for Heritage Days, with this year's theme being "Weddings through the Centuries." Clackamas County Historical Society is partnering with neighboring organizations and businesses such as the Edwardian Society of Oregon, the West Linn Historical Society, the Vancouver Barracks Military Association, Lavender's-Green Historic Clothing, the Arc Light Event Space, and other partners to bring special activities and educational materials to the public. The Stevens-Crawford Heritage House, decorated in a period-appropriate fashion, will host an Edwardian wedding reenactment. Visitors can take photos with the wedding party, partake in crafts, and enjoy light refreshments, with activities concluding in a Honeymoon sendoff. House opens at 10:30 AM, with the ceremony beginning at 1:00 PM. Admission is free.
