Clackamas County Historical Society has teamed with Northwest Ghost Tours for two nights of terror. Participate in a paranormal investigation of the 1908 Stevens-Crawford Heritage House with experienced Ghost Hunters who will guide you through any eerie encounters. Buy your tickets online or at the Museum of the Oregon Territory.

Free drink included with ticket (to be enjoyed following investigation). All ages welcome. Portion of proceeds benefit CCHS. Additional McLoughlin Promenade walking tour available through NW Ghost Tours. Tickets in limited supply.

Upon arrival guests will be given an introduction and then will be split into two groups, each guided by their own Paranormal Investigator. Each group will conduct their own investigation into separate areas of the home. Investigation will conclude at 8:45 and guests are then allowed to share their experiences and redeem drink tickets.

The Stevens-Crawford Heritage House is a two-story early 20th century home. In order to complete the investigation guests should be willing and able to climb and descend stairs, navigate tight corridors, and stand for long periods of time.

Rocky Smith, a lifelong resident of Oregon City has become well known as a local historian and paranormal investigator. In college Rocky worked for three years in the historic Ermatinger House, the oldest house in Oregon City and the third oldest house in the state of Oregon. Rocky has had many paranormal experiences over the past 20 years in the Ermatinger House including his first experience, which was featured in Susan Smitten's book, Ghost Stories of Oregon. Rocky started researching the paranormal activity in Oregon City in 1995 and has documented close to 100 haunted places within the city. In 2006, Rocky combined his love for history and knowledge of the paranormal, founded Northwest Ghost Tours and now leads the Walk with the Spirits tours in Oregon City. Rocky has been featured on local radio and TV and has been asked to speak at paranormal conferences and history/paranormal pubs around the Northwest. Rocky is also the Director of the quickly growing Oregon Ghost Conference.


You can purchase an additional tour of the McLoughlin Neighborhood, to be completed after the Stevens-Crawford Heritage House investigation.

The McLoughlin Promenade Tour is a 2-hour tour walking Tour covering over 25 blocks (1.25 miles) of the Historic McLoughlin Neighborhood, around and along the Mcloughlin Promenade in Oregon City. Due to the earlier event at the Stevens Crawford House this special tour will start and end out front of the Ermatinger House, 619 6th Street, Oregon City. Guests will pass by some of the most haunted places in the McLoughlin Neighborhood and will hear real ghost stories based on documented research. Join us as we walk with the spirits and explore Oregon City's most amazing history, legends and folklore. Sites covered on the tour include the Ermatinger House, St. John's Church, Oregon City Elevator, Singer Falls, McLoughlin House and more. *(Our tour route includes stairs. If you use a wheelchair or find it difficult or impossible to maneuver stairs please call or text us prior to the tour (503-679-4464) and we can help figure out an alternative route or solution.)
